l have always been viewing a great deal of flapping slots on a Cisco 3750 bunch, and there is no rhyme or reason as to what slots they are usually. I thought it has been STP cycle, but checking CPU its not really showing Spanning-Tree as high utilization. I perform not understand what is certainly leading to this. Can anyone aid?
Up-date: It seems all ports possess mysteriously stopped flapping as of right now, but I was still overseeing it. If that will be the case, it could really well end up being a user who connected something in that caused a put out hurricane or cycle (but once again I think that I would have got observed something on the CPU utilization or something.
Upgrade 2: well after troubleshooting this more, it appears that it might be a poor NIC on a PC that had been causing broadcast storms. We handicapped the interface and all of the various other ones halted flapping.not really sure if this is definitely the finish all, but I will carry on to monitor it.
